Why Sewasy exists
Looking for a rental in the Klang Valley often means messaging many listings to find out which are still free, then discovering the real upfront cost only after a viewing. Renters lose time, and owners and agents answer the same questions again and again.
Sewasy is built to make those first steps clearer for everyone — with information that is kept current and shown before you enquire.
What we're changing
- Recently confirmed listingsAdvertisers reconfirm that a home is still available. Listings that aren't reconfirmed within 14 days drop out of search.
- Clear move-in costsEach listing shows its deposits, advance rent and estimated agreement costs as one estimated move-in figure.
- Owners and agents clearly identifiedEvery listing is marked Owner Direct or Registered Agent, and agents show the REN number they supplied.
- Built for renting in MalaysiaPrices in ringgit, local neighbourhoods and search by MRT and LRT station — starting with Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley.
How Sewasy works today
- New listings are reviewed by Sewasy before they appear in search.
- Renters can send an enquiry or a viewing request; the advertiser sees it in their dashboard and replies by email or phone.
- Sewasy does not collect rent or deposits. Tenancy terms are agreed directly between renter and advertiser.
- Anyone can report a listing that looks wrong. We review reports and can pause listings.
Sewasy is in an early stage. Some listings you see during this period are demonstration listings and are labelled Demo.
